Prepare a clear project list

Before asking about window or gutter cleaning, walk around the property and make a short list of the areas you want addressed. Separate window panes from screens, and note which sides of the building or groups of gutters are part of the project. For pressure washing, list each surface separately, such as a deck, siding, fence, pavement, or hardscape. This helps keep the conversation focused on the actual work rather than a broad request to clean the exterior.

Think through surfaces and access

As general preparation, note surfaces that are delicate, damaged, recently repaired, or close to plants and outdoor furnishings. For indoor fixtures such as chandeliers and ceiling fans, identify their location and mention any access limits. These details can help clarify which service is relevant and what questions to resolve before work is planned. Do not assume that one cleaning method is appropriate for every material.

Choose a useful estimate scope

A useful estimate request can name the service, the parts of the property involved, and any specific concerns. If several services are being considered, distinguish them rather than combining them into a vague exterior-cleaning request. The business information offers free estimates, but customers can still prepare by asking what the estimate covers and whether separate areas or services should be considered individually. The warranty feature is another point to clarify for the particular work.
