Please take a moment to read this somewhat long message Shopping around for a solar company can be a confusing and unpleasant experience, especially when dealing with slick career sales people pushing solar leases and Power Purchase Agreements with solar panels bolted to your roof that you do not own. These leases and PPAs are a great deal for the third party that ropes you in and takes your 30% tax credit for THEIR panels that are attached to YOUR roof. It's all very confusing, but can sometimes be tempting for the unwitting solar shopper to maybe go this route. Lately, more and more people from increasingly diverse backgrounds are rushing to make the smart and easy switch to solar. The outstanding financial returns of solar installations have attracted the attention of folks who really understand how wealth works. Still, some people simply install solar systems for the well-known environmental benefits and of course, ALSO enjoy the financial benefits as well. The sooner you put panels on the roof, the sooner you'll start saving a significant amount of money. At some point those savings accumulate and will total what you spent on your panels.
